My Love for Thee

Be it ever eternal, my love for thee

Walking through flowered fields

Running down sandy beaches

Spending time with those we loveth

Like a walk in a forest

Dense with brush obstructing

And blooming trees distracting

My eyes set upon thy beauty

Surrounded by brambles

I feared them not

And gazed into thy soul

Through the windows of thine eyes

Traipsing through the brambles

I embraced thee with my soul

Thy sweet, caring spirit endearing

Drawing me ever nearer to thee

What man could live

Deprived of the very air he breatheth?

How could he singeth

When deprived of his melody?

How could his heart beat

Deprived of his love?

Could I not express mine heart to thee

The beat of mine heart would cease

Thrown into nihility

So I doth scribe words

As thou hast scribed thyself on mine heart

Lest I never scribe again
